Spain has one of the largest coastlines in the Mediterranean, stretching more than 1,600 kilometres and blending ancient cities, resort towns and fabulous beaches. This spectacular coastline is one of the warmest and most favourable in all of Europe for a holiday, whether it's during spring, summer, autumn or winter. This webinar is a tour of the northern Mediterranean Coast for seven days so if you are going to Spain you can create a two-week holiday with our 7 Days in Barcelona tour.

Spanish beach areas all have special names. This Webinar tour starts at the Costa Brava, right next to the France border and ends at the Costa de Valencia in the marvelous city of Valencia. Valencia is the third largest city after Madrid and Barcelona with 800,000 inhabitants but don't let that scare you, it is so easy to get around you will think it is a smaller community. The Spaniards say that the best paellas are in Valencia and they celebrate paellas each March with the Fallas Festival. The trip is mainly in Catalonia a section of Spain that wants its independents. We'll start in a town most famous for hosting the Salvador Dali museum and folks, you have never seen a museum like this one: Sculptures of women with baguettes on their heads, an entire room of photos of Dali with his mustache designed in weird ways and if you walk by the stage, his crypt is below it. Gulp!

From there we move south to communities with historical Roman ruins, parks, tapas bars and Sangria stops.  We'll encourage you to make a few day trips inland and tell you about two locations where the Game of Thrones was filmed. Of, course we will encourage you to see the community where Tour de France riders practice but not just for that, this community has windy streets, great shopping and lots and lots of historical buildings and festivals. Next, the tour will take you to a community that the Russians have fallen so much in love with that the store signs are in Spanish and Russian. We'll tell you about an area that can be seen from space and then show you a train tunnel that is converted into a walking, running and cycle path that joins two communities. This area is exceptionally fabulous for cycling but if you aren't a cyclist, don't worry, there are other forms of transportation. What a marvelous seven days this tour is!
